Tennessee Launches Recuiting Campagin for 2008-2009 Season

In an effort to bolster the team’s numbers, UTWRFC has started an aggressive recruiting campaign to fill the ranks of the team. The team has recently met with a marketing advisor to find the best way to market to students.  If you are interested in playing with UTWRFC, please click here.

Wanna Play Rugby???

Practice for the 2008/2009 campaign begins on August 27. Practices will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Fulton Bottoms Rugby Field located just off campus in Tyson Park. We always have some people that have class conflicts so don't let that keep you from coming out. Even if you can't make every session each week, we would like to see you at practice when your schedule allows. Required practice attire includes a mouthpiece, jersey or sturdy shirt (not a t-shirt) and cleated footwear.

New Players
New players are always welcome. Each year we have new players join the club, some with high school rugby experience and some that have never played the game before. Our club is open to anyone enrolled at the University of Tennessee.
